Dear Potential New Members, Current Sisters, Families, and Friends,

On behalf of the CNU Panhellenic Council, I welcome you to our website! The Panhellenic community consists of seven active chapters with over 400 sisters. Each organization consists of remarkable women, united by their passion for service, leadership, and sisterhood. Given that each chapter is unique and special, our sisters complement one another and come together and collaborate to create an overall positive Panhellenic experience. The Panhellenic community is dedicated to academic excellence, character development, and the overall well-being of all of our members. We strive to create a space where every woman on campus can feel welcomed and included.

A little bit about my personal Panhellenic experience: As a freshman, I didn’t think that joining Greek Life was for me. However, a week before Formal Recruitment my sophomore year I spontaneously signed up because I had a feeling that it was the right thing to do. After spending a weekend talking to amazing women in each of the 7 chapters, and running home to my own, I realized that I had a great love for the Panhellenic community. I very quickly decided that I wanted to keep participating and interacting with all chapters, so I attended as many community events as possible, and inevitably decided to run for the Panhellenic Council.

Running for president seemed a bit ambitious after only serving a small role in my chapter for half a semester. However, I put my doubts and second thoughts aside and applied. Once the Slate got approved and I was officially elected into the position, I felt an overwhelming sense of love and support not just from my own chapter but from the entire Panhellenic community.

My time so far on the council has been an incredible experience and my love for this community has only grown. I have a love for facilitating good relationships and close bonds between chapters because I don’t think a member’s experience with the other chapters should end when she runs home. I am committed to doing my best to help strengthen cross-chapter relationships and create a space where members will have a positive Panhellenic experience inside and outside of their chapters.

Being a Panhellenic woman has given me the strength and confidence to do many things that I couldn’t even imagine one or two years ago. The relationships built through this community are life-long and something I will cherish forever. If you are interested in learning more about the Panhellenic experience or our 7 chapters, please browse through our website, follow us on social media, and contact us if you have any questions.

All love,

Savannah Dunn
